CARE Courses At a Glance

 

To log on to take one of these courses, you will need to first create an account with CARE Academy and then LogIn Here.

All CARE employees are required to take the following e-learning courses on CARE Academy:

  • CARE's Approach to Ending Poverty (Identify the six Programming Principles; understand the underlying causes of poverty and how we address them in our work; and "meet" colleagues from different regions.)

  • Addressing Poverty & Social Injustice (understand the three levels of causes of poverty: Immediate, Intermediate, and Underlying; learn about CARE's Theory of Change and the Unifying Framework, understand why CARE has adopted a program approach and the definition and characteristics of a program.)

  • Gender Equity and Diversity Basics (Define GED by understanding diversity and gender; why GED is important to CARE; understand how to promote GED by integrating GED within the organization)

  • Personal Safety and Security Awareness (why your personal safety and security is important, what you can do to be safer at home and at work; understand how to assess your own risk in a given environment, and what you can do to reduce that risk.)

  • Workplace Harassment - USA Based Staff Only (Understand the definition and forms of workplace harassment; learn proper ways to handle harassment situations)
