Welcome to the Supporting Access for Family Planning and Post Abortion Care in Emergencies (SAF-PAC) e-learning module. SAF-PAC aims to reduce unintended pregnancies and deaths from unsafe abortion during emergencies. A component of this program is to increase CARE’s capacity to support and sustain sexual and reproductive health services in emergencies.
After completing this series of online courses and utilizing the resources provided for each topic, participants will gain the following core competencies:
o Demonstrate knowledge and skill in long-acting and permanent family planning methods
o Demonstrate knowledge and understanding in protocols for post abortion care
o Show understanding of cores concepts and components of the MISP (a minimum pass rate of 80%)
o Knowledge of tools and processes to use data to for decision making and program planning
o Demonstrate knowledge in rapid assessment skills
o Identify and understand the indicators for gender and GBV prevention
E-Learning Module format
This e-learning module format is divided into 6 topics that align with the programmatic activities and goals of SAF-PAC. Each topic contains several courses, a list of resources and an evaluation. After completing the 6 topics and the 6 evaluations you will receive a certificate of completion for the entire series. Please note that you will only receive a certificate if you complete all 6 course evaluations.
